Buck euchre rules

Buck euchre is a North American three- or four-player euchre variant with no partnerships, where each player scores individually.

Key points

  • No bidding or partnerships; every player plays for themselves and must try to take at least one trick.1
  • Scoring subtracts 1 point per trick won; failing to take any tricks or meet a target adds 5 penalty points.1
  • Taking all five tricks in a hand wins the game immediately; otherwise the first to reach zero points wins.1
